Starting off on the more expensive end of things, the Floe Dual Ring RGB 240 TT by Thermaltake is actually the priciest liquid cooler that I’ll be taking a look at today.

This 240mm AIO liquid cooler is one of the best in its class, offering some truly impressive cooling levels.

Performance levels aside, this 240mm AIO is truly beautiful to look at.

The RGB is some of the best out of any liquid cooler that I’ve seen and offers a wide array of colors that wonderfully add a ton of personality to any rig.

Thermaltake’s new “TT” logo also looks very nice and looks far cleaner than the company’s old logo.

The cooler comes with an RGB controller, which allows for up to five additional RGB components to be plugged in.

This welcome addition allows for RGB enthusiasts with a ton of different supported components to control their rigs together using a single controller.

All of the RGB settings can be controlled by Thermaltake’s software, which admittedly doesn’t have the best UI, is still a vey convenient way of controlling your system’s various lighting options.

Moving on to performance, this liquid cooler is simply fantastic.

The Thermaltake Floe Dual Ring RGB 240 TT offers speeds faster than many of its competitors, with the AIO offering up to 3600 RPM.

The acoustics are also quite good, though it is slightly audible.

The fans themselves are also quite good, though not as impressive: their maximum speeds only go up to 1400 RPM which pale in comparison to some of the other 240mm AIO coolers on the market.

This lack of speed means that the system will simply not cool as efficiently as other coolers that have the faster speeds.

But at the same time, this also means that this liquid cooler is also quite a bit more quiet due to its slower speed.

Upon inspection, you’ll find that even when working its very hardest, this cooler is very quiet and almost completely unnoticeable.

To summarize, the Thermaltake Floe Dual Ring RGB 240 TT is a great liquid cooler that offers some great cooling, with very low sound levels and some fantastic RGB lighting effects.

It’s just a shame that it doesn’t offer cooling speeds quite as fast as some of its lower priced competitors.

Pros:

  • Very Quiet
  • Efficient Cooling System
  • Beautiful RGB Lighting

Cons:

  • A Little Expensive
  • Not as Fast as Some of its Competitors

2. Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R

  • 240 millimeter Radiator low: profile dual chamber addressable RGB pump with dual addressable RGB fans for push and pull air flow; Air flow: 66.7 CFM; Noise level:30.0 decibels
  • Addressable RGB fans and pump: Color option can be controlled through Cooler Master software centimeter Plus
  • Removable pump cap: never worry about installing the pump upside down; Pop out the cap and place it; Done

Cooler Master releases its first ever RGB water cooling system with the MasterLiquid ML240R.

This 240mm all-in-one water cooler has plenty to love, with a great cooling system, relatively quiet sound levels, and some very pretty RGB.

To start things off, let’s discuss the RGB lighting on the unit. Cooler Master’s introduction to the RGB world is a great one, offering some very nice and highly customizable RGB lighting effects.

The RGB customization is all digital, and like Thermaltake’s offering, can all be customized through respective software.

But unlike other brands, this cooling system uses a universal three-pin digital header that is supported by many different motherboard brands, including ASRock, MSI, and ASUS.

This essentially allows for this cooling system’s RGB lights to be synchronized with other non-Cooler Master branded RGB components, making it far easier to get an entire PC rig that has fully synchronized RGB. This addition feels very consumer-friendly and is a huge plus.

The system’s overall design is very good, and the system offers some very quiet noise levels.

It’s just a shame that its performance is a tad bit underwhelming, with fan speeds not quite up to par compared to competing AIO coolers.

Overall, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R is a great overall cooler with excellent RGB lighting, very quiet noise levels, and a great price point.

It does feel a bit held back by performance, but for those who care more about having an efficient, quiet computer over raw speed and power, then this may be a great choice for you.

Pros:

  • Very Low Noise Level
  • Great Design
  • Great RGB Lighting with Universal Compatibility

Cons:

  • Underwhelming Performance

3. MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R

  • Long Lasting Reliability: A durable three phase motor at the core of the pump generates minimal vibrations for long-lasting operation.
  • Total RGB Fan Control: The included RGB fans support custom speed with PWM fan and customizable lighting through software.
  • Rotatable Cap: Mount the cold plate in any orientation, turn the cap up to 270 degrees to keep it upright.

The MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R is yet another great mid-tier AIO liquid cooler.

Like most of these coolers, this product comes with some RGB lighting.

The RGB on the MSI MAS CORELIQUID 240R is very visually pleasing and has a ton of different options and color cycles available.

When installed, this liquid cooler really adds a lot to one’s PC rig as a whole, and looks just brilliant.

The cooler itself is quite good. The cooling performance is great, offering fan speeds of 500-2000 RPM which is fast but not quite as fast as some of the other liquid coolers on this list.

The fans, when running at maximum RPM speeds, can get a tad bit loud which is a shame.

If you’re in the market for a new AIO liquid cooler, then this is a very good choice although there are coolers that fair a bit better, in the same price range.

Overall, I would say that this is a good cooler, but just not the best option a

Pros:

  • Very Nice Presentation
  • Great RGB Lighting

Cons:

  • Underwhelming Performance
  • A Little Loud

4. ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240: Best Budget 240mm AIO

  • QUALITY CONTROL APPROVED: We have increased the quality assurance and quality control. The products have been subjected to additional tests and marked with a QC sticker
  • LGA1700 COMPATIBILITY: The Liquid Freezer II 240 is compatible with Intel's new Alder Lake processors - Socket LGA1700
  • COOLER THAN OTHER AIO WATER COOLERS: The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II has a more efficient cool plate, pump and radiator that makes a difference among other AIO water pc fan coolers

Coming in as the cheapest AIO cooler on this list, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 is an excellent pick for PC builders looking for a budget liquid cooler.

While lacking additional bells and whistles such as RGB lighting effects, this liquid cooler still manages to provide some very good performance for less money.

As I already mentioned, this liquid cooler does not have any sort of RGB lighting whatsoever, so for those looking for the snazziest looking AIO cooler on the market, this is certainly not it.

But with that fact out of the way, the Liquid Freezer II is still a decent looking cooler, with a plain black design that is very straight forward and simple, if not slightly cheap looking.

In terms of performance, this cooler stacks up very nicely with more expensive competing AIO coolers.

In terms of noise level, this cooler is top-notch; its low noise level is unmatched when compared to other coolers in its same price range, and even stacks up very well when compared to more expensive water coolers.

It fairs similarly in cooling performance, with levels comparable and even beating out more expensive AIO coolers.

To sum everything up, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 packs in a ton of value.

Though it lacks in overall presentation, this AIO water cooler more than delivers in performance with ridiculously low noise levels and very impressive cooling.

For the price of under $100, this cooler is an absolute bargain.

Pros:

  • Very Quiet
  • Great Cooling Performance
  • Cheap Price

Cons:

  • No RGB Lighting
  • Presentation is a bit Underwhelming

5. NZXT Kraken X53: Best 240mm AIO Cooler For Value

NZXT Kraken X53 240mm - RL-KRX53-01 - AIO RGB CPU...
  • Design: With a re-designed cap and larger infinity mirror ring LED, the new Kraken X allows for adjusting the orientation of the pump head to fit without affecting the direction of the logo
  • Bigger And Brighter: 10% bigger infinitty mirror cap allows for more vivid RGB and a rotating cap accommodates re-orienting the logo no matter the direction the cooler is installed
  • Better Control: Full CAM integration allows you to manage your Kraken’s performance with precision

The final AIO cooler that I’ll be looking at today is the NZXT Kraken X53.

This mid-price ranged cooler is yet another great choice, offering all the features one would come to expect from a great AIO liquid cooler.

Visually, the cooler looks very nice. The fans are a dark gray color, while the pump is more black-colored.

Unlike some other cheaper-looking models such as the Liquid Freezer II, this AIO cooler has a very premium look to it.

This is only emphasized by the cooler’s excellent RGB lighting. The RGB has a very unique, circular design that looks fantastic when in use.

It, like most of the other RGB AIO coolers, is highly customizable and offers a range of different settings and features that are all programable.

The cooler performs incredibly well, offering cooling levels nearly unmatched while running at maximum RPM.

This cooler’s fan volume has also decreased over previous Kraken models, with the difference very noticeable.

This model’s fan speed now ranges from 800-2800 RPM, which allows for a ton of customization; at idle speeds, the cooler is incredibly quiet and nearly silent.

But at full speed, the AIO cooler is still quite loud, which is to be expected as its high RPM naturally means louder noise level.

The NZXT Kraken X53 packs in some great high-level performance and fantastic presentation, all for a fair price.

It’s one of the best AIO coolers in its class and comes strongly recommended!

Pros:

  • Top-Level Cooling Performance
  • Beautiful RGB
  • Customizable RPM Fans

Cons:

  • Loud When Running at Max RPM

Conclusion

To wrap things up, each of the AIO liquid coolers discussed today are fantastic products. You really can’t go wrong with any of them, with all five offering great values for your money.

With that said, they each offer different pros and cons and everyone’s choice may depend on what they’re looking for in a liquid cooler.

If you’re in a market for a new cooler but are on a tighter budget or just don’t care for RGB lighting, then the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 is the obvious choice.

Without included RGB and sold at a cheaper price than the rest, this cooler performs great.

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R gets an honorable mention for having universal compatibility with other manufacturers’ products and just generally delivering a great product, though it is not my favorite cooler out of the five models.

For those who want the strongest performance along with a top-notch presentation, then the NZXT Kraken X53 and the Thermaltake Floe Dual Ring RGB 240 TT are my personal two favorites.

Both of these AIO coolers deliver exceptional performances.

But out of all of the products, the NZXT Kraken X53 just barely edges it out, if only because its lower price makes it feel slightly like a better deal by comparison.

If you’re looking for a top-notch AIO liquid cooler, then the NZXT Kraken X53 may just be perfect for you.
